I am pleased to convey the warmest greetings of the Philippine Government and Filipino people to all our friends and partners in the Royal Thai Government and the Kingdom of Thailand on the occasion of the 75th Anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Philippines and Thailand.
I also greet the Filipino community across the Kingdom on this joyous occasion and thank them for their continued support and contribution to the enduring friendship between the Filipino and Thai peoples.
Both countries have built a strong partnership that is defined at its very core by the relationship between the Filipino and Thai peoples, whether in government, business and industry, education or on the personal level. We thank and recognize all the women and men who have helped make 75 years of friendship between the Philippines and Thailand most meaningful.
The 14th of June is also observed as World Blood Donor Day. I renew the Philippine Embassy’s call for Filipinos in the Kingdom to continue the annual tradition of donating blood at local Thai Red Cross centers. May this life-giving blood donation be a meaningful and personal way for the Filipino community in Thailand to show solidarity and long-lasting friendship with the Thai people.
Together, let us move forward to a new era of closer friendship and common prosperity.
