The Philippine Embassy in Bangkok, Thailand informs the Filipino community that the ASEAN Secretariat has officially launched the call for nominations for the ASEAN Prize 2024 from 01 March to 31 May 2024.
On its 7th edition, the ASEAN Prize is a regional premier award to recognize the inspiring achievements of ASEAN citizens or ASEAN-based organizations with significant contributions to ASEAN community-building efforts.
The ASEAN Prize honors individuals and organizations that have steadfastly contributed to the development of a resilient ASEAN Community and demonstrated concrete efforts in fostering regional integration, forging an inclusive and stronger ASEAN identity.
The nominee must show valid/verifiable documents on these achievements and describe his/her future initiatives.
In addition, to qualify as the Philippines’ candidate, the nominee must either be a Filipino citizen or an organization created or led by the Philippines. The submission must be supported by one character reference attesting to the nominee’s suitability to receive the ASEAN Prize.
The ASEAN Prize will not consider self-nominations and posthumous submissions.
The ASEAN Prize 2024 recipient will receive a trophy and a monetary prize of USD20,000 sponsored by the Temasek Foundation of Singapore.

Completed nomination forms, which may be downloaded from the abovementioned website, must be submitted by 1700H GMT+7 (Bangkok time) on 31 May 2024.
