The Embassy would like to inform the general public and the members of the Filipino community in Thailand that pursuant to a Memorandum issued by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED), all concerned individuals and parties are urged to conduct the necessary due diligence before enrolling in and engaging with any Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) and/or degree-granting institutions, both local and foreign, to ensure the recognition by the CHED of qualifications that will be granted by said institutions.

CHED strongly reminds the public of the importance of verifying the status of any degree-granting institutions through CHED’s International Affairs Service (CHED-IAS) to ensure that concerned parties are dealing with HEIs that are duly recognized.

The Embassy encourages all concerned individuals to take the time to confirm the legitimacy of HEIs and the degree programs on offer before making any commitment in order to protect their invested resources and, above all, guarantee that any degree earned is duly accredited.
