The Philippine Embassy in Bangkok, Thailand informs the general public of the following temporary changes to the releasing time of the certification of the Apostille, beginning 10 November 2022 until further notice, for documents originating from the Philippines to be used in the Kingdom of Thailand.

Please be advised that the Embassy’s certification of the Apostille of documents issued in the Philippines (e.g. PSA-issued documents, including Certificates of Birth, Marriage, Death, No Marriage Record; School Documents; Court Documents, etc.) to be used in Thailand, shall require additional processing time. This is due to the ongoing transition to the new Apostille Issuance System of the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) of the Philippines.

Same-day release of the certification of the Apostille shall be suspended until further notice. In the meantime, the Embassy will continue to receive requests for the certification of the Philippine Apostille, per usual, but will request each applicant to come back to the Embassy when their documents are ready for pick-up.

The Embassy appreciates the public’s patience and understanding during this transition period to the new Apostille Issuance System.
