In observance of the 2022 World Day Against Trafficking today, 30 July 2022, the Philippine Embassy in Bangkok reminds the Filipino community in Thailand to be vigilant against online job recruitment scams being offered through unsolicited emails and various social media and messaging platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Line, Messenger, Telegram, among others.

The Embassy has monitored a rising number of cases in mainland Southeast Asia of Filipinos who have fallen victim to fake employment offers promising lucrative salaries.
