1. This advisory is NOT for those who are receiving their ballots via registered mail.
2. This information is only for those who have indicated “c/o Embassy” in their address during the voter registration. If you did not indicate to claim your ballot at the Embassy, you will receive your ballot via registered mail.
3. Registered voters claiming and dropping off their ballots at the Embassy are strongly encouraged to do so as early as possible and not to wait for the last day of the voting period in order to avoid long wait and crowding at the Embassy.
4. The voting period will start at 8:00 AM (Bangkok Time) on 10 April 2022 (Sunday) and end at 6:00 PM (Bangkok time) on 09 May 2022 (Monday). The Embassy will be open for overseas voting on all weekends and all Philippine and Thai holidays until 09 May 2022.
5. From 11 April 2022 (Monday) to 09 May 2022 (Monday), ballots can be claimed at the Sentro Rizal of the Embassy from 9:00 AM until 6:00 PM with no noon break.
HOW TO CLAIM YOUR BALLOT
6. On the day that you visit the Embassy to claim your ballot, proceed to the gate security and present your secondary ID, preferably a Philippine government-issued ID to get your queuing number for Overseas Voting (For this purpose, do not use your passport which you will need to claim your ballot). If you have a separate appointment for passport or consular services, you may claim your ballot first before proceeding to the Consular Section for your appointment.
Only 200 voters will be accommodated per day to avoid crowding at the Embassy and to comply with health protocols. The last queuing number will be issued at 5:00 PM of each day.
Voters will be issued ballots based on the sequence of their queuing number.
7. Proceed to the location of Sentro Rizal as shown on the map below:
8. Present the following information to a member of Special Ballot Reception & Custody Group (SBRCG) to claim your ballot:
- Original and photocopy of valid Philippine passport, Voters’ ID or seafarers’ book (Please note that there is NO photocopying machine available at the Embassy);
- The Certified List of Overseas Voters (CLOV) sequence number that corresponds to your name:

9. Proceed to the area provided should you decide to accomplish your ballot onsite. Return to Sentro Rizal to drop off your ballot at the designated drop box.
DOs
● VOTE EARLY AND RESPONSIBLY!
● Bring the original and photocopy of your valid Philippine passport, and secondary ID, and be ready with your CLOV sequence number.
● Prepare your list of who to vote for before going to the Embassy. This will help avoid accidental markings on your ballot.
● Follow health and safety protocols, including the wearing of masks, disinfecting the hands and physical distancing.
DONTs
● DO NOT WAIT FOR THE LAST DAY OF VOTING TO CAST YOUR VOTE!
● Do not bring any campaign material.
● Do not wear clothes with designs or prints intended to support or oppose the election of any candidate.
● Do not engage in any campaigning and partisan political activity during the voting period especially within the premises and surroundings of the Embassy.
● Do not show the contents of your ballot to any person.
● Do not take selfies or photos showing contents of your ballot.
● Do not vlog or take photos and videos of the Overseas Voting area of the Embassy.
