  1. For FILIPINOS arriving from abroad, effective 0001H of 10 February 2022 (IATF Res. 160-A):
    1. Fully vaccinated Filipino nationals

a.  Negative RT-PCR test taken within forty-eight (48) hours prior to the date and time of departure from the country of origin or first port of embarkation;

b.  No mandatory facility-based quarantine; and

c.  Self-monitor for 7 days.

    1. Unvaccinated, Partially Vaccinated, or Filipino Nationals Whose Vaccination Status Cannot Be Independently Validated

a.  RT-PCR test taken within forty-eight (48) hours prior to the date and time of departure from the country of origin or first port of embarkation; and

b.  Facility-based quarantine until testing on the 5th day and, with a negative result, can leave the quarantine facility and undergo home quarantine until the 14th day.

    1. Unvaccinated Minor Filipino Nationals

a.  Minors below 12 years old shall follow the quarantine protocols of their parent/s or an accompanying adult/guardian traveling with them;

b.  Minors between 22 to 17 years old shall follow the classification and procedures based on their vaccination status (i.e., vaccinated or unvaccinated).

    1. Fully Recovered Filipino Nationals with Positive RT-PCR Pre-Departure Test Results

If fully recovered but tested positive for RT-PCR test taken 48 hours prior to departure:

a.  Submit positive RT-PCR result for test taken 10 days or later but not longer than 30 days;

b.  Submit medical certificate stating completion of the mandatory isolation period, is no longer infectious, and has been allowed free movement and travel;

c.  If fully vaccinated, no facility-based quarantine but shall self-monitor for 7 days;

d.  If unvaccinated, partially vaccinated, or vaccination status cannot be independently determined, please refer to item A(b) above.

  1. For FOREIGN NATIONALS entering the Philippines visa-free, effective 0001H of 10 February 2022 (IATF Res. 160-B):
    1. Foreign nationals traveling to the Philippines for business and tourism purposes may enter the Philippines visa-free, provided they:

a.  Qualify as former Filipino citizens with Balikbayan privilege under Republic Act No. 9174, including their spouse and/or children who are not balikbayans in their own right and are traveling with them to the Philippines; provided they are not restricted nationals; OR

b.  Are a citizen/national of countries entitled to a stay not exceeding thirty (30) days under Executive Order 408, S. 1960, as amended;

c.  Are fully vaccinated except only for minor children below twelve (12) years of age traveling with their fully-vaccinated foreign parent/s;

d.  Carry/possess an acceptable proof of vaccination;

e.  Present a negative RT-PCR test taken within forty-eight (48) hours prior to the date and time of departure from the country of origin/first port of embarkation;

f.   Have valid tickets for their return journey to the port of origin or next port of destination not later than thirty (30) days from date of arrival in the Philippines (except those availing of the Balikbayan privilege);

g.  Have passports valid for a period of at least six (6) months at the time of their arrival to the Philippines; AND

h.  Obtain, prior to arrival, a travel insurance for COVID-19 treatment costs from reputed insurers, with a minimum coverage of USD 35,000.00 for the duration of their stay in the Philippines;

Please note that all international arriving passengers are required to register with One Health Pass.

COVID-19 vaccine certificates issued by the following countries are accepted and recognized in the Philippines based on mutual recognition (as of 03 February 2022, IATF Res. 160):
