The Philippine Embassy in Bangkok, Thailand informs the general public of the following authentication procedure, beginning 01 January 2022, for documents originating from the Philippines to be used in the Kingdom of Thailand and vice-versa.
1. For documents issued in the Kingdom of Thailand to be used in the Philippines:
Step 1. Submit your document to the Legalization Division, Consular Department, Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs for authentication

Step 2. Bring your MFA-authenticated document to the Philippine Embassy in Bangkok for authentication

2. For documents issued in the Philippines (e.g. PSA-issued documents, including Certificates of Birth, Marriage, Death, No Marriage Record; School Documents; Court Documents, etc.) to be used in the Kingdom of Thailand:
Step 1. Bring your document to any of the Department of Foreign Affairs consular offices providing apostille services

Step 2. After your document has been apostilled, please bring it to the Royal Thai Embassy in Manila for authentication.

Step 3. Submit your document to the Legalization Division, Consular Department, Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs to make the document legal for use in Thailand
