The Philippine Embassy in Bangkok, Thailand informs the Filipino community that the Thai Government has issued Regulation No. 28, tightening measures in the "maximum and strict COVID-19 control zone (Dark Red Zone)” to manage the spread of the COVID-19 virus. In compliance with the said directive, the Philippine Embassy will be providing consular services as follows:

1. Frontline consular services (passports, notarization, certification, and legalization) will be provided on emergency basis only from 23 July 2021 until further notice. 2. The service for solemnization of marriage will be suspended from 23 July 2021 until further notice.

3. Those who have appointments for consular services from 23 July 2021 onwards will be informed of their new schedule by phone or email.

The Philippine Embassy continues to urge all Filipinos to monitor Thai Government announcements, follow prevailing health protocols and restrictions, as well as take all necessary precautions to avoid infection and contribute to the prevention of the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
